FG Approves Reduction in Cost of JAMB and NECO Forms. The central government has cut the examination expenses for Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the National Examination Council (NECO).
Clergyman of Education, Adamu, made the revelation after the Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday to columnists in Abuja.
Candidates under the new game plan will pay N3,500 as JAMB examination expenses against the past charges N5,000, N9,850 for Senior Secondary Certificate examination SSCE, which is dealt with by NECO from the current N11,350 being paid and N4,000 rather than N5,500 for Basic Education Certificate which is likewise taken care of by NECO.
