NIJ Resumption date for 2018/19 academic date. The management of the Nigerian institute of Journalism NIJ has announced the resumption date for the commencement of 2018/19 academic session for all students.
Even more, Please be informed that for administrative reasons, the resumption of the 2018/2019 session for all NEW STUDENTS has been postponed to Tuesday, October 2, 2018.
The Nigerian Institute of Journalism started in 1963. NIJ is as one of the two experimental schools of Journalism in Africa. NIJ is established by the Zurich-based International Press Institute (IPI) in Lagos and Nairobi, Kenya respectively. Prior to the establishment of the two schools of Journalism, aspiring journalists in Africa had little or no opportunity for formal training. Most of them were forced to learn on the job the basic skills of the profession. Few that had the benefit for formal education obtained that in professional institutions in Europe, especially in the United Kingdom.
Note: Above all, The first week shall be for WORKSHOP for National Diploma students (Full time and Part time). Therefore, Registration will commence from the 4th-5th October, 2018.
Furthermore, Come along with the receipt of your tuition fee as stipulated in your student bill. Lectures start on Monday, October 8, 2018.
